Short answer: You put your brand name on jeans by having a denim factory apply it during production — most often on the waistband patch above the back pocket, plus interior tags, retail hang tags, and optionally the shank button and rivets. You don't need to design a jean from scratch to do it. The quickest route is private label: choose an existing, already-proven fit, send your logo, and the manufacturer builds it under your name. At YourJean that's the Express program — 26 stock styles, a 1-piece minimum, produced in about a week.
Where your brand name physically goes
A pair of jeans gives you five branding surfaces. You don't have to use all of them, but the first three are what customers actually notice:
- Waistband patch — the panel at the center back waistband. This is the main brand signature and the part people photograph.
- Interior tags — the labels inside the waistband carrying your name, size, and care information.
- Retail hang tags — the swing tickets the jeans arrive wearing, so they're floor-ready or ship-ready on day one.
- Shank button — the top closure button can carry your name or mark.
- Rivets — the small metal reinforcements at the pocket corners can be branded as well.
Three routes, fastest to slowest
- Private label (fastest). Take a stock style exactly as it is and put your branding on it. The fit, fabric, and wash don't change, so there's no development work and no sampling loop. YourJean's Express program works this way — a 1-piece minimum and roughly a week of production, which means you can order a single branded pair to photograph and hold before committing to a full run.
- Custom. Start from a proven style and change things: a different wash, a leg opening, pocket details, hardware. Takes longer than Express because every change has to be made and confirmed.
- Bespoke. Fully original development from your own sketches or reference garments. The most control, the longest timeline, and the highest minimums.
Most new brands are better off starting at the top of that list and moving down only once a specific fit is proven to sell.
What to have ready before you order
- Your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF). A screenshot or low-resolution PNG won't survive being scaled down onto a patch or engraved into a button.
- A one-color version of your mark. Patches, engraving, and rivets reproduce a single clean shape well; fine gradients and hairline strokes don't.
- Your style and size picks. Look through the full range of stock styles — stacked, baggy, flare, skinny, jogger, cargo, shorts, jackets — and decide the fits and size curve you'll actually sell.
- A quantity target. Per-pair pricing drops in tiers as quantity grows, and the tiers are shown on each product page, so you can see where your cost lands before you order rather than after.
US shipping is $9.99 flat under $500 and free on orders of $500 or more. YourJean manufactures in Collierville, Tennessee — if you'd like someone to look at your logo file before you place an order, email info@yourjean.com, call +1 (901) 664-1446, or use the contact page.
